Intern Job Description

As a Dale Carnegie intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and networking, while being exposed to the entire training process, from initial client meetings through the ultimate training program. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attend various consult appointments and/or business discussions with prospective clientele
  • Aid in the development of customized training solutions
  • Support Performance Consultants by performing research on local companies and business leaders
  • Recruit and publicize for Dale Carnegie Programming
  • Help prepare training kits/materials for local courses
  • Analyze and code survey data collected during training courses
  • Maintain and update the franchise blog
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed and other duties assigned
  • Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, selection, and training of future interns

 Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Mature, self-confident and willing to share ideas
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects at once
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

 

Position Details:

Intern would be required to work 15 to 20 hours per week. The position is unpaid, however interns are able to enroll in Dale Carnegie Training programming, schedule permitting.
